mav, the SE people told me that the target release date is coming mid May(in HK) and they are trying to push that to early May.
Timing is good as I can(and am definitely will) buy one as birthday gift for myself then........hehe......

thanks a bundle for the replies.... i'm so looking forward to this phone.... but i'm a little worried about getting used to the weight and size of it since i'm using the T600 right now.

T610 is definitely 'bigger' and 'heavier' than T600 but given the fact that T610 is way superior to T600 in terms of technical specification, I think T610 is the best we can get at present.
T600's reputation as being the once smallest/lightest non-flip phone in the world has largely been overshadowed by its infamous 'sleep-mode' and 'poor reception' problems. Of course, I do hope that SE would be able to overcome the 'poor signal reception' issue and come up with another T600-like mobile phone that has both the 'compactness' of T600 and most, if not all, of the features of T610.

WOW I never knew the T600 was so small.It is smaller than the T66 and the T66 is the smallest consumer cell phone I had ever seen.Wow i am very suprised.It doesn't look as small as it is.My mom has a 8390 and that is tiny.The 8390 looks big compared to the T600.The T68i looks like a gaint compared to it.LOL WHAT ABOUT THE 3650 HAHAHA. It looks like a spec compared to the 3650

t600 and t66 are exactly the same size (well, t600 is actually a couple of mm thicker).
official release of t610 in europe is 12th may.
