I didn't think GPRS was free but if it says "minutes/pages" then Minutes refers to WAP GSM which goes through analouge like a normal call. Pages would refer to WAP GPRS which is v.fast and this is not billed by minutes, but by amount of data. And by pages I think they will allow you the "average" amount of data it requires for 500 pages.

With the launch of o2 active, I heard that the free GPRS thing on Prepay is going to end in AUGUST. At that point some data tariffs will probably come out but at the moment I haven't heard anything.

Keep watching!

August eh?

Well gives me a few months, I have downloaded in 1 month a cool 62mb over GPRS free with pay/go online sim, on my Nokia 7650 using webviewer.
It was going to be 2p a kb, if that remains then 1 months surfing will cost me.......................................................................................................1250 pounds, hmmmmm, that's nice

That isn't going to work is it?

BT tried to resist change like this as well, charging by the minute for Internet calls, they finally caved in and offered unlimited(within reason) packages, the mobile companies will have to follow suit, but can the mobile network handle it?
I've heard the GSM network is allready way over it's design limits for connected phones, that's why you have zero chance of making a call or text on new years eve, if eevryone starts surfing on colour screen phones, they'll have to dust off the 3g licenses.
