The Led turns red when you charge the phone while the phone is off, when you charge with the phone turned on it is permanently green.

Annoying? Well what you could do is to buy yourself a suitable case for the phone. I just did and I do not see the LED anymore. I can´t say that I found it annoying though.

In some cases I instead find the three "ticks" when switching on the phone somewhat disturbing in some environments. These should have been possible to cancel in the settings in my opinion.

To avoid the "ticks", you have to switch off your phone with Silent on (vibrato)
