MIDI files don't have a limit to how many voices it can have. If the file has more voices than the device can handle, it will just play whatever it's capable of. That's why SP-MIDI was made so the author of the MIDI file can specify which notes are significant and should be played and which notes can be dropped.

I have played midi files greater than 100 kb on my phonw without problems (R1C001). file size wont be a problem, get ur phone software checked .

you can try upgrading although i dont think it wud be a firmware problem, just that ur current software is corrupted. So updating ur firmare shud help.

I think there's no limit in the size of the midi file. I got a polytone that is more than 100kb.

I went to sony ericsson site and when asked it appears you have a t300. I said no and went to t310 and that phone has 32 capability and downloaded to my phone and they worked. This message was posted from a T300
