Great little app this - really notice a difference between OGG and MP3 encoded tunes. I've got 6 tunes on my phone instead of 2/3.

0.5beta was just released.. Flip-Closed mode is now supported!!!!! YES!

whats new:

0.5:

A simple flip-closed mode support has been added. Everything works just like in flip-open mode. In addition the jog dial can be used to select the previous or the next song in the playlist.

Reclaim the sound device after it was stolen from us, i.e. resume the music after an SMS arrived or an alarm went off etc.
Tipping on a song will automatically start playing it. No need any more to press STOP and then PLAY.
Bug fix: Track titles with certain special characters in it would not display correctly.
The (new) program icon now has the same size as the other program icons. Looks better.

go get it from http://www.geocities.com/p800tools

looks a goodun, and i'm now gettin the hang of using OGG files, with one problem: i'm using WinLAME to convert my MP3s, but it's taking bloody ages to convert, like about a minute per track, is this right?

Great, 0.5 OggPlayer is a great step forward but there are a few bugs I have emailed the author about.

Can work around them for now.
