No it's not out yet....and yes it is just a flashligt.
I read more somewhere att an official SE page (some time ago) but I can't seem to find it now
But as to what I remember is that it will not flash in any way but it will light with a constans light.
I personally don't think that it will be linked someway to "interact" with the camera. There will most probably be an on/off button on the "flash" and nothing more. Just my thoughts...

Of course its a f**kin flash you idiots,it would'nt be called a 'flash' if it was a torch! And it'll probly take up as much battery power as the mca-20/25. Also its only something that most cheap cameras have on them so i think SE have the brains to make this simple add-on! :-D
