he's probably mistaken, even semicon isn't sure when its going to be available in the philippines, although arnoldc has information that it'll be available here in June at the 20 - 22k price range.

the SARS problem really isn't that serious anymore. fair enough if you don't want to come, but some people overseas have the misconception that once they step foot in hong kong, they'll die of a mysterious bug.... which is clearly not the case! By and large the responsibility for these misconceptions lies with the media whom have had a great time with all those big headlines....
