Just buy a new faceplate and decide which casing you want, ask the technician to have the bulb busted. keep the other faceplate, just in case u want that light back ;-)

The led is not part of the face plate, it is part of the circuit board.

Its not that i dont like the phone, in fact its the best one you can get, but this thing is a little annoying. But i think i get used to it...

Maybe its just me but i really like the LED's of the t68i as it really adds character to the phone and its one thing i would probably miss when i shift to a t610.:-)
