I hate to disapoint you all, but Orange will be releasing GPRS on pre-pay in the not too distant future

Expect to see a 'very' popular GPRS phone on prepay when the service launches

Couldn't find a post to put this question, i'll just put it here.

The other day, I went to Vodafone AND Carphone Warehouse askin why my T65 had in the Status menu "GPRS not allowed". At vodafone, the girl there kept talkin about not having my details. I then when to Carphone warehouse and they said that there are certain (vodafone) providers that provide GPRS and the Vodafone i'm usin doesn't provide GPRS.

I'm a bit confused, can anyone explain why I can't just use the Basic Plan for GPRS on vodafone.. (the one where connection is free and is charged 2p/kb) ?

One more thing, does anyone have any information on Genie (BT Cellnet) providing cheap Sim cards which provide like 300/600 text messages a month with WAP/GPRS??

Sorry for being long-winded but thanks!!
