I don't even use the software, I just plugged in my Belkin bluetooth adapter, and it recognized the t610, I didn't even have mess around with it, now can move around files back and forth via bluetooth.

Oh.. I called up SE support today and finally got my T610 to sync with Outlook using BT on WinXP

Before that you must make sure that your BT works between T610 and your PC.. you must be able to pair them up.

1) Okay first install the comms suite
2) From My Bluetooth Places | Entire Bluetooh Neighbourhood | and right click.
3) Choose "connect to serial port 1" and when you do that, they will tell you which COM port will be used, remember that.
4) Goto control panel | Phone monitor Options...goto com ports TAB and "enable" that COM port.
5) Now from your outlook, click the XntdConnect Icon.. and it will start to detect your phone!!!

Voila!

strange i tried your solution but there is no "connect to serial port 1" (step 3) !

Hi, guyz. Newbie here..~

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the files from T610 through Serial Cable?
IrDA doesn't seem to work for me.
And i'm not going to buy a BT dongle either (payin' over 200 HKD just for little bit of downloadings is unworthy...)

Oh, must be a typo... I meant:
2) From My Bluetooth Places | Entire Bluetooh Neighbourhood, select and right click.

You must do a "Discover for services" for the phone, that should list all the various services that your phone will perform.. one of them is the serial ports...

been running Windows XP and Anycom BT since March 2002 and it always worked. When I got my T610 recently, i removed the T68 from the Phone Monitor (delete phone and SIM) and established a new pair from the Anycom BT Wizard. The Phone Monitor detected the new T610 and everything else worked. I didn't even bothered installing the CD software that came with the T610. I have sync'ed with XTND Connect, used MyPictures, Float's FMA (though it doesn't use MPM and has problems of its own) to my satisfaction.

I, too, have a problem with my T610. I have a Macintosh Apple Computer and bought the phone because they say it can be connected. but the Cable, does not work (same problem that was described above with the XP System). I also tried with Windows2000, but the Sony-Ericsson Software does not detect the Phone.
I need a solution - and my opinion is that the help and information from sony-ericsson is very poor.
