Greetings,

@Jazzbo - Like the Opera (or other aftermarket browser) solution for browsing internet via bluetooth, if you use an aftermarked email reader you will be able to use the bluetooth connection. There is that reqemailviewer, or something like that, as an example. Just go to handigo or my-symbian and do a search for email readers and away you go.

Now my turn - Do you *have to* go through serial connection to access the PC internet. I see in the wizard that the bluetooth device also offers a network connection option? My problem is that shrotly after I initiate the serial connection and begin browsing, the PC hangs... Grrrrr..

Specs - Win XP home, USB Bluetooth adapter, Widcomm 1.4.2.10 drivers, P800 with Opera.
Notes - Yes the P800 and PC detect each other. Yes they are paired. Yes I can sync and transfer files.

Thanks all,

MM

@MM - bluetooth is a very trial and error thing, for some people some dongles will work fine and not at all for some. I reckon the problem lies in your bluetooth adapter and not ur configuration. Try and sell it to a nokia user who wont be able to tell the difference anyway and get urself a TDK or Belkin or something similar. Hope that works
