I have the same problem with the phone turning off, regardless of it being in my pocket or just lying on the table. I find that it happens mostly when i'm using GPRS and the phone has trouble loading up. Maybe it turns off to reset itself? This message was posted from a T68i

It happend indeed also while using wap via gprs...
After that "problem" there were a lot of empty (phonenumbers where 0000) contacts in my phonebook. Turning the phone on and off didn't help. After connecting again to wap, they dissapeared.

No, it is not the connection... When that connection is broken, th phone is turned off!! That is not happening with me... He asks for the pin code...

Stupid sonyericsson, didn't have all this troubles with nokia...
Better batteries, better signal, better phones!!!

I have the most up-to-date software and this feature still exists. Your phone is obviously knackered, take it to a service point.

as i said if it freezes up b4 reseting it's not the pins but the software bugs. Take it to a service point but tell them it freezes quite a bit ...it's abnormal. But if u remove the PIN code request u won't b able to see (u wont notice) when the phone restarts itself.Just a trick. Thus u will be onto network in less than 30 secs.
