What I would really like is a crome/silver P800 with a green theeme on the screen, like the P900 we have seen a few pics of earlier here on Esato. This message was posted from a P800

Actually... Hmmm... I think I will give it a go! A mate of mine is a silver smith, he ought to be able to do it. Anyone know where I can get the SE stickers that are on the phone? I want it to look like it was made in crome not sort of repainted. This message was posted from a P800

If it works, you have to arrange so I can get one too. Maybe you could sell them or something...

I'll give him a call tomorrow to check if he can "silverize" (?) plastic. He does it to baby shoes and stuff so...
We will see.

Don`t you think the "silverized" paint would peel of the plastic cover after some time Tranq.

I don't know. We will find out when the job is done.
Ive been in touch with a silversmith who says it will be possible to do it but without warranty.
Another problem might be putting the phone back together again... They will have to put one layer of some special metal paint on before the silver itself is put on, so we're talking about a fairly "thick" layer going on to the blue covers.
It's going to fairly costly as well, around £100. But it's only money...
