I downloaded all the encoders and plug-ins, etc. Tried to convert a file but the file size turned out much bigger than I had expected. I will try playing around with the settings. But the sound quality was quite impressive though.

Hi guys im having a bit of trouble with my ogg files:

1) Converted a mp3 to .ogg file....on stereo 32000 rate and sound quality of 5.0 but it doesnt make the file any smaller.

So i thought i can perfect the art of compressing by playing with the config. but....I placed the ogg file in docs/unfiled of the duo on my P800 (someone said in a thread this automatically finds the file when u start ogg player).

2) Nothing appears when i boot up ogg player.

Anyone help please?

Can ogg player only be used for a p8/900 or can it be used with other things/phones aswell?

To find the new files, select "Find new files" from the "OggPlay!" menu.

I use CDex to convert/rip, it is completly free, and can convert directly from MP3 to OGG without saving as WAV first, although the interface can be a little confusing for many.
