Yes, I can now access Esato via xHTML (GPRS Wap).

However, some posts give the following message:

"Your client is not allowed to access the requested object"

This occurs only in xHTML, as the standard WML forum lets me view all posts with no problems.

There guilty posts tend to be long, but I can view some other topics fine which have even longer replies!?! There must be something in the posts that triggers Orange's HTML filters.

For example:

This thread: t610 on orange uk

Posts which I can not display (post 1 is start of topic):

Post 15 (simon69c)
Post 20 (simon69c)
Post 25 (armchairpundit)
post 28 (T68iKING)
post 43 (simon69c)
post 56 (simon69c)

Wheras, this thread: To anyone with a T610 (UK)

The first post is longer than most, yet I can view it fine on T68i xHTML!?

I get problems viewing some posts like kidscruff said, yep i'm using orange gprs wap but i even get the odd post where i cant view using wml. Its not a big ėssue tho so if the xhtml stays working then i have no complaint, btw,i had a big do on the phone about this with cust-services and was told i wud be reported! And i did'nt use any bad language, but she did'nt even know what xhtml was anyway! :-D pathetic! This message was posted from a T68i

I'm using a T68i on AT&T GPRS in the US and am not having any problems. Maybe it's a network problem. This message was posted from a T68i

@kidscruff 'Was wondering if you could enlighten me as to why certain xHTML pages would be inaccessible ("Your client is not allowed to access the requested object")

It's just the gateway - I get that aswell - especially really long posts - it must cache the pages or something & then fizzle out (not to hot on servers & how gateways operate - this does not interset me but have the paper work about this - it's just technical jargon & diagrams )

If you are in uk & don't mind a dial up account - goto sonyericsson's site via wap & they can send you their wap account - no probs there. Just additional charges for dialling 0870 number - which is usually 10p min tops which is same as orange wap dial-up on most talkplans anyway.

& as for wapchimp - get all retro

### oh & has anyone tried installing another SP's GPRS settings???? do they work?? just curious ###
