can any of the internal viewers be used with a map?
JPEG, PDF both are virtually unreadable, when it comes to text.
Any ideas?

The best program for this (and other undergrounds around the world) is from
www.visualit.co.uk.
They currently only support Pocket PC and Palm but I sent them an email a few weeks ago and they are working on a Symbian version which should be out "soon".
