It depends wot u want from a phone. The p800 is a smart phone where you can have real ringtones and really change its features by uploading software onto it. Where as the t610 is a petite mobile which has the usual SE featureset which means its really well specced compared to most other brands. If you are after one of the phones for mainly taking pictures on then i would say it would have to be the p800 as there is obviously more space for pictures with the memory stick although the t610 shows pics when some one txts u which is nice.

The P800 camera quality is not very impressive.

The only problem with my p800 is the camera quality. If the quality can be improved the phone will have it all.

I have to agree... I think my old P800 pic quality at MMS resolutions was similar to what I get now from the T610 and that is a shame.

T610 has a screen resolution of 65536 colours.
Maximum camera resolution is 72 Dpi, with a size of 352 x 288.

P800 has a screen resolution of 4096 colours.
Maximum camera resolution is 72 Dpi, with a size of 640 x 480.

Put it simply, T610 can display images with a higher efficiency but loses out on the camera resolution department. P800 loses out on screen resolution but makes it up with a better camera.

Note that all mobile cameras have a same resolution of 72 Dpi (Dots Per Inch). It's the size of the photo that really makes the difference.

Personally, I prefer T610. Simplicity is for me.

T610 picturesize is the same as in MCA-10. I use it with satisfaction. The 352x288 size is fine on the Tungsten, also on my HP omnibook but only in small size. I even print them in workreports in 3x5 cm and they are quite sharp. This message was posted from a T39

The p800 pics have a 24bit color depth(16 million)
I don't know how many colors the t610 has...

But looking at the above pics I'd say the p800 wins...
Though they both suck...

Yes you are right I have a P800 and a week ago I bout a T610, I haven't seen it this way I was looking at the phones display if you look the picture at the pc monitor the diferense is seen well.
But if you look the phones display it seams the T610 is better.
Any way like you guys said the one is a smart phone and the other is just a very good SE phone I like them both but it is clear that P800 is the better if you have the money...
