sorry but... do you not recon the video capture will be crappy anyway?! i cant see how the camera in the back is good enough to record video to a watchable standard.. for a start, dim light makes it useless! the only times its good for is a sunny day! then again... summer is on the way!

it's not really about the camera i guess, it about the 7650 beating the P800 in that area.... also it's nice to take a few seconds clip of that magnificent ass walking infront of you (Just a joke!!!)

Hi guys,

I have used the beta version of the Camcoder software on my P800. Sorry but I am not allowed to distribute it - but it is really cool and handy. The recording time is sufficiently long enough to do MMS-based videos which would be primary intention.

Very simple. Drawback: no sound (at least in the beta).

I'd be fine with 160 x 120 or 192 x 144, at 12-15fps...with audio

They should make it limitless a/v recording...just like the 7650 and 3650... saved on the Duo...

At 160x120, the CCD (or CMOS) sensor is pretty ok in low light, no need to lower shutter speed, etc... but if Sony decides to put "Night Shot", I'm not gonna complain.
