contract, though i would quite like a sim free one with no branding (like the ones Carphone Warehouse sell on Orange, with the original SE packaging and phone menus etc, but i could definately put up with the small Orange logo on the base, as long as they leave the menus alone

Where is that from?, is it an official one?, probably not as it still isn't on the main orange site.

Last I heard (from orange customer service) was 26th June but they were going to rip me off 89 quid for the upgrade, and I'm sick of orange anyhow (spend 80quid a month on 2 phones one mine one missus, and since french telecom took over they have been crap), when I got my port number they didnt even try talk me out of it! I got both phones ported and they couldnt care! moved to TMobile now and we shall see.... theve got 12months to impress me if I dont like I'll perhaps try three, they may have better coverage/priceplans by then.

Three have recently announced two new priceplans which could be the ones you are looking for? Videotalk500 and Videotalk750 are £25 and £35 a month respectively and feature 500mins/750mins of xnet voice calls each month. £10/£20 of inclusive video content for the first three months and 25/50 inclusive SMS for the first three months. I would be going for one tof those if they had got some better handsets out - the A835 shouldn't be too much longer I gather but I think the Z1010 is still a way off!

thanks for that info simon those are some good price plans, 25 a month, with 500 mins to any network!!! plus that must be any time, not just off peak? I may just not upgrade my contract now, and get myself 3
BTW, (sorry the last 2 posts are off topic), but any idea on the earliest release of the z1010? eg: will dubai get it first, and is it possible to get it sim free, then put a sim in here???

p.s if the t610 is out tomorrow on orange, anyone asked them if the settings has been changed??

No it's true. From the place I bought my P800 contract phone from and that cost me £116.99 3 months ago. The website is:
http://www.cyren-communications.co.uk/

They do not have it on their website yet, so I phoned them up and they looked up some paperwork and got me the price it will be. This is of course WHEN they get it in. At the moment they are still waiting for the new HISS free model.
