SE suffered a lot from the ericssonpeople whom are sacked last year.
not to mansion the spygames that were going on in Lund...
It never made the front pages, but it was a real leak...
Now EMP develops sw for not only SE but also for siemens and in the future there will be more...
They contracted a couple of people who are very skilled.

No one has the US market as it's main focus because you guys are to far behind in mobile technology. It's a well known fact that Japan and the surrounding are are first, then Europe and then everywhere else. Your networks are still too fragmented and I think you have only a few nationwide providers and last time I checked you still paid to receive calls. All this means that basicly the US will be getting the type of models that wouldn't sell in Europe or Japan for the time being. Besides everyone knows that the big market that all the makers are trying to really break into is China.

@Fi... I agree with you. That is why SE needs to make phone just like Nokia did with the 3390 to win the market.Almost 90% of people have a 3390/3360.It is still selling 2 years later. Its cheap and people think it looks cool because you can personalize it. There are probably over 100,000 different types faceplates for that phone

Doest surprise me these days that Americans think the known universe ends at the borders of the US...I guess the reason y funky phones like SEs are coz they dont have much taste, thats y crap boring phones with basic menus + features like Motorolas sell like hot cakes there!

just see whether the angels can hel T616/T316/t226 in the states in coming months. Remember the first Charlie Angles movie make Nokia 821X such a famous product worldwide.
Of course this is IF the movie didn't flop in box office.

@c96... is SE the sponsor in this Charlie's Angels?
Anyway, I think

sucks in 3 areas... design (-10,
all their current designs look unfinished), software (-8, not counting UIQ, thier SW people really really really really really suck at menu structure and flow), manufacturing (-20, you can't complain about low sales when you can't even meet your current demand! This is their biggest and DUMBEST mistake)

yup...HEY you didn't visit their website or notice the thread in Esaot right
its not Nokia this time...its SE.
T616 (T610 sibling in US) will be showed in the movie....and according to those thread here in Esato...the usage of the phone will be more than T68i/P800 in the James Bond flick.
do you remember the first movie....Diaz SMS while fighting with the villain. Maybe this time she can MMS while fighting.

Anyway, back to subject of this thread.

are infact loosing
a lot of money. Sony just piled a load of money in to

to try and revive it but I think the outcome is plain for all to see. Bye bye
