@b0f4

That comment has no relevance to SonyEricsson products as they don't use T9 on any of their phones.

They use a propriatary predictive text.

So if SE has their own version of Predictive Text on the T68i, then it shouldn't be impossible for them to create a version for the P800 - or am I missing something here?

@ tbl

They still use T9 predictive text but there own software version. I.e to get a space on a SE, you use "1" key compared to other manufacturers who use other keys!

Am I missing something!!!! Why would u need T9 on the P800… it’s a PDA with a keyboard or handwriting recognition!!! And personally I don’t have the flip on mine as I think it looks better without it..

I think it refers to everyone's personal preference really. As for me, I use my :es: P800 without the flip and I could live with no T9 input as I rather write it out with the stylus. The keyboard on the screen is a bit of a pain really. I just need to learn and get use to the hand writing recognition which some of them are different from daily life's alphabets.

i find the hand writing recognition very good and fast, there r a few new was 2 write that u have 2 learn, but its far better than the iPAQ's hand writing recognition.

I need T9 for these things...
