in windows go to Control panel
then System
Hardware devices or something like that.
Then in the list click on the + next to ports
You will see COM 1
COM 2
LPT 1 (depends on wich ports you have)
Then double click on the port your cable is connected then look in all the tabs (probably "port settings or properties") for the dataspeed or baud rate. Put in on 115200 (9600 is default) or a bit lower. databits on 8 parity = none. Flow control = none
If this don't work try playing with the settings a little bit.
stopbit = 1. these are the standard settings.

As said earlier your computer is has a much faster cpu and much more memory than your phone so it will be slower though you could use a gif animator to ajust the frame rate of each frame of the animation.

So let me sum it up in (probably) good english:
1.When you send a animated gif from your pc with datacable 2 your phone: The animation runs slowly!
2.When you receive an animated gif from somebody else (is this also from another pc or phone via IrDa?) : The animation runs at normal speed?
Please confirm or correct!
only few answers left then.... your computer is rubbish or your cable isn't good. Your computer encodes the .gif files completly diffrent then other ones or your phone decodes the data at a diffrent way when send from a computer.
