i like what nokia is doing, just perfect!!! now nokia will be at 2nd place by the end of Q1 2004. 3100 worst design ever. 6600 looks like an old ericsson design, specs don't inpress me, more like a 3650i but still not good enough to kill the P800. the SX1 will be a good rival.
so next step is up to

to introduce there new phones.
Could you list the advantages of P800 compared to N 6600. There's touch screen in SE, but I don't count that as an advantage. What else?

better zoom, its out on the market, the 6600 is a smartphone, the P800 a pda, better internet and mail support, you can vieuw pdf, word, powerpoint, excel and mroe on a P800, better support, nokia doesn't update there phones often, and if they do they just bring out an i version of the phone, like 7250-7250i. there will be a flash availeble for the P800 soon, and it has better functions to set up the pics you take.
you can't actually compare a smartphone whit a PDA but if you do, the pda ussualy wins.

Honestly, the design is brilliant. I hope SE would come up with designs that would rival Nokia's. I'm not saying that I don't like SE phones. SE are exceptional in phone inovations but lag in design.
Just being honest.

First of all I want to apologise (do you spell that so?)
to open a different topic over the 6600
Well I think its a nice phone!
But the 3100 looks terrible! Like the Alcatel 310/311 damn lousy!

Butt ugly? Look at SE's latest designs to see really butt ugly phones. They look even worse than old ericcson phones from 5 years back. No wonder they're going bankrupt soon.
I have one of these beauties in my hand right now and it's size is good and looks cool. Maybe you just realised that SE has nothing good to offer in the same class and that's why you try to bash this baby.
Yeah, you can make your self feel good to compare nokia PHONES with P800 which is rarher in COMMUNICATOR class.
Just face it, SE has lost it a long ago and will never be back in the top.

All it is,is a 3650 made a little smaller with some better picture functions that is for 3G.It is not meant to beat the T610.I would have gotten a 3650 the day it came out if it was smaller, and I'm sure most people would too.
Now for that SE look a like. How could they be so stupid. They know many people don't like SE's design so why would they make a phone that looks like it belings to SE.ANYWAYS NOKIAS ARE MADE LIKE ****.I WILL NEVER GET NOKIA,PROBABLY NOT GET AND SE either because they need a phone with decent reception.I'm going to get the GU87 for the time being then when the x70 hits stores I will be first to get it.HOPEFULLY.LOL.

Then, why don't you compare N 6600 to SE smartphone? Oh yes, there's no such thing...
What it comes to Internet in P800 and N 6600. Opera browser is available for both...For e-mail, both have support for same protocols, so where's the difference? Addiotion to these N 6600 support MIDP 2.0 with the bunch of new API's, 65 k color screen, video recorder with two image sizes, 3GPP streaming and so on...
