Never heard of them - but bear in mind that it will be July in two weeks time. They're probably fibbing to get more orders.

spoke to my local orange shop who claim to be getting the phone next week.
however i not sure if they are just trying to get me to use them when it is finally realeased they took my number any way so we will see if they phone next week.
i wont be holding my breath i think it will be mid july closer to the o2 offical realese date

spoke to one of the senior staff at the orange shop at the trafford centre (manchester) about dates for the T610 today. he said they should have them "...by the end of the week", £79.99 on contract.
i'll believe it when i see it.

It's possible - I suppose, but very unlikely. I can personally guarantee that Orange Retail staff aren't told the phone has been launched, or when it will be until the day before (when they are advised of the handsets' delivery)

yeah that's what i'd heard. i think the guy i spoke to was the assistant manager and he seemed very sure about it.
i'm highly cynical about it, mobile phone retail in the uk seems to increasingly steeped in bulls**t.

I've just got this Email from
www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk regarding when my new T610 will arrrive...
"the handsets are currently out of stock - we have had an update from Orange this morning who have advised us that the phones have technical problems and are being resolved at the moment - new quality control checks will take place next week so if all that goes ok we should have the phone Thurs/Fri for delivery to you Fri/Sat . We will keep you up dated"
Anyone know which "technical problems" in particular, need to be resolved by Orange?

Line 2 works perfect i have had a replacement due to not recieving all sim-updates correctly but appart from that the handset i have works fine.
