I thought that I read somewhere besides the software difference, the T68i is supposed to have a brighter screen than our T68m. The first batch of pix posted here - Esato - had a pix of the 2 phones side by side; but the T68i phone's screen is brighter. If that is the case, the T68i has a bigger edge over our "m" version.
Nevertheless, baby blue sucks to me. I'd prefer the lunar grey any time. Also, the "3 stripes" design above the screen is, IMHO, more cool than the new "squarish" design in the "i". The latter looks, what can I say.... more like a toy.

This is what I have heard and read from different sources on the internet that would compel someone to upgrade:
T68i:
Brighter screen
Faster menus/T9 (Hardware improvements)
Yes/No keys are built better
Backlit Keys are lit better
More memory
Better Receiption for 1900 band (Hardware improvements)
These is all unfounded until they release the actual phone.
Time will tell....

There will be no changes in the hardware in the T68i, the only thing thats is diffrent is the design, inside no changes.
When the upgrade for T68m is comming you have exact the same phones but with diffrent designs.

The 2 phones are the same inside! They have equal amount of memory, due to the new SW memory is released and can be used for more background pics etc. And the keypad light is improved, and blue.

Why do you bealive SE when they tell us there will be NO difference in the hardware on these two phones? That is B U L L if you ask me. I think it will be more correct to say that they will not alter the design of the internal part of the phone. Circut board etc. BUT my guess is that they WILL change components, to make the phone better. I'm no component geek, but I used to work for a company who made pcb and they changed components all the time as they discovered what worked best. They seldom changed the pcb design, but alteret what components they put on it.
