......and WHY some people do not have their own preference on things in life. This is because my friends will buy whatever I have an eye on and this piss me off so much that we will end up using the same phone, shade, shoe etc

Its all to do with trust. You have had a good product by a company before, so why change the product for one of the same but with a different brand? I only stick to Sony Tvs, Mds, Laptops everything like that because I have never in my life had a Sony product that has had any problems or faults within the first 5-10years of owning it. Usually the fault comes about because of my abuse towards it! As with mobile phones I switch between companies as I hate waiting around for stuff so if a new phone comes out before the one I am waitin for thats good, i'll get it (although I am actually going to wait till Dec for the 6600)

I have changed mobile brands in the past. I started out on Ericsson gone through Motorola back to Ericsson, Nokia, Ericsson, Sagem, SonyEricsson (see a pattern?) to another SonyEricsson! When I choose a phone I go for what I believe to be the best available at the time for what I can afford at that time. I don't particularly quick to any one brand in any respect (although I do keep coming back to Ericsson, now SE) I personally don't get the charm of Nokia or why people always stick with them This message was posted from a T610

I wouldn't chose manufacturer i didn't trust whatever deal the provide. Sagem being a good example. I have always prefered siemens but was quite happy to note to se as the s55 was to expensive. As a rule i would be happy to chose any manufacturer provided that they have a good reputation whatever the product. This message was posted from a T68i

I read somewhere that the s55 has a 256 colour screen. That can't be right? Sagem's after sale support is useless (call a London number to be told to hold the line IN FRENCH then get put through to some French person who'd rather not be helping 'les rosbifs') Miss UK I have a T300 but I want to keep it as a spare if I need to send Sophie Ericsson my beloved T610 off I'd rather not make do with a loan (last one was a NOKIA 3310) sorry :-( This message was posted from a T610
