Before buying, I suggest you check whether it is
customized (by Voda or else)...
Because:
- it is a german web site, and
- 299 Euros is not far from the price I payed a Voda T160 a month ago...
So beware...

I think its a SE move not the retailer.
everyone else will follow suit soon, You guys are forgetting the most important factor, competitiveness. SE has to price its phones competitively even if they are new on the market, T610 has to compete price wise with 7250 as these 2 phones are competing for the same market share. And remember we are on the vurge of the SE unveiling their new line up of phones so "older" products will be reduced in price
Thats just my 2 cents worth anyway.

The 340 Euro price at Elkjøp in Norway is apparently for a sim-free and unlocled t610, but as I said I'm having troubles believeing that woman I talked to as Elkjøp's prices are usually pretty stiff.

They still haven't replied within half a day anyway. If they were quicker I might have ordered.

I got a reply and ordered the last one in stock.
The good thing is there's nothing to lose, they will (have) sent it Cash on delivery (worth paying the extra 5 euro's for) so if there are any problems you just don't accept it.
Hopefully it won't hiss, but it can always be upgraded to cure it, from what I could make it out, it is a full european model (all instructions in English) Unbranded and sim free. I don't know if there are going to be anymore at that price, you could contact the nice lady who phoned me, and then emailed me:
