I thgt sum said b4 on esato dat there wld b a zoom function in da R2F sw but I woz disapointed. The so called Nightvision is software based an so takes up lots of CPU juice, hav u noticed how da screen lags when u move da phone around in niteshot mode? Da 7650 camera seems 2 b much better, clearer and vibrant when takin pix. Also try takin a close up pic wid da P800, its useless!

anything less than 3" and it loses all clarity.
With the screen on Flicker free set to 60HZ the is smooth on mine.
I am running on R2F and its is a hell of a lot smoother when you pan.
Was the 7650 good for close ups?
when i had mine it was not something i tried (only had it 2 weeks).

(it has a wicked light sensor for that which is missing on the 3650)
The reason the screen doesnt refresh quick is because its a slow shutter speed (persay) so u should make sure not to move the camera and take a shot of something still.
The 3650 night time doesnt even come close to the 7650, and ive yet to upgrade my p800 firmware so cant comment. generally though in the right conditions the p800 is as good as the 7650, just start at the default settings and play around from there.

@Indianbwoy, kitp800: The 7650 had the WORST camera of all. There have been 20+ threads here already with comparisons. The 7650 camera is blurry, barrel-distorted with a nasty blue tinge to it.
