as my phone is never off the battery never has any time to cool off and i havent noticed any temp change in it.
as the duos are digital data not magnetic there should be other worries storing them that close.
they also seem to remove some of the flexibilty in the battery cover,
this is only a good thing i often find mine creaking when its in my hand.

@p800doc

what did use as that metal clip?
are they readily available?

I used a rather thin brass foil. It really should be made out of a more springy metal (bronze), but I was maybe a little too eager to try it out, and so I didn't look around for the right material for too long.

Anyway it works well even as it is. If you look around yourself for a suitable material you shouldn't have too hard a time finding something that'll do. As the material needed to do the job will be rather thin (you only need the clips to press lightly on the cards) you'll be able to cut the shape with an ordinary pair of scissors.

Of course the shape of the clips can vary widely. I contemplated using an ordinary paper-clip and bend it into the right shape for the purpose: that would probably have worked as well.

To make the design more robust I wrapped the material round the back of the battery (And then: Epoxy to glue it on.): I was worried that it should add to much to the overall thickness, but that was not the case. I've added a pic that shows the wrap-around:

Kitp800: I cut a couple' extra brass strips for my experiments. If you feel that'll do and if you can't find anything else, you can send me a SAE and I'll drop you one.

Yesssss and maybe too

you look ::

and then you see. that a rubber band is good to hold two to the battery (as per previous post) , but one can be held on its ownsome in the shell of the foan itself.

easy storage solution no. 2.

remove the plasitc cover from the memory stick duo.
do this to two sticks, then stick them together back to back using either gum or superglue.

Now the fun part.. insert with vigour, into the phone and enjoy a double sided memory stick.

Warning: may void warranty on your life if you try this on someone elses phone first.

nb: please disregard this post on between several to many grounds!
