Why not have a hot snap game pad plug in to the bottommcgnnectors? a'la clié

because: somehow the p800 is in the market for months and there is still no specific gamepad for the bottom connector and there is too no gamepad for bluetooth (besides this would be expensive, because bluetooth is not licence free..)

At least one of the new SE models coming has an integrated game-pad. Imagine a unit with gamepads/buttons on each side, and the phone clips into the middle, providing the screen. Very Playstation styled.
