i hv 3 more

- as an extension to point "29. Being able to divert calls when in Desk Stand etc.", would like the miniGPS program to be built in and add one more feature, that is, whenever i go in to my preset cell, i can divert calls

- AT Command programming, can use AT command to control the phone like what T68 and some other old ericsson phones have

- GamePad Module, when you remove the flip, you can stick the GamePad Module for playing game, since sometime JoyDial is difficult for playing game. the GamePad module can be something similiar to the GamePad module that CLIE has

The self-updating firmware is coming...possibly on the P810.

And the flip doesn't come off, so no point in differentiating

9. Option to hide number by default when calling.

10. Themes / color / background.

11. Video Recording with sound.

12. Zoom capability.

13. Alarms that go off even when Phone is off.

14. Improved and easier Bluetooth.

15. Ability to change buttons to specified options (for example “internet” button turns bluetooth on.)

16. Members of Phone Book can be placed in more than one group.

17. The ability to copy one contact at a time on the phone book from the SIM phone book.

18. Sms folders (in f/c mode as well as f/o mode)

19. Choosing the processor speed (Up to the full 200 mhz)

20. Task manager (In the task bar)

21. Handy-Day like SW installed in the phone.

22. Undo Feature

23. Being able to delete multiple contacts at a time.

24. Being able to delete contacts just by pressing “c” in fc mode and going to the file menu in fo mode instead of having to click on the contact then going to the file menu and not being able to delete contacts in fc mode at all.

25. Being able to update firmware ourselves.

26. Improved Music Player with Graphic EQ, Playlist Functions, Skins etc.

27. Icons for different types of numbers for each contact.

28. Profiles

29. Being able to divert calls when in Desk Stand etc.

30. The phone needs to ask to save when editing contacts etc. (on/off optional)

39. MP3 Ringtones

40. Ability to make ringtones loop without a interval.

41. Being able to STOP a MIDI SMS tune from playing once SMS OPENED!

41. The ability to enter a phone number in a calendar entry. Then when an alarm for that entry goes off, a button is provided to call the number for me? I have conference calls all the time, and set them as appointments or reminders. I'm always having to then manually look up the number and enter it. It should be automatic.

42. For any given phone number in the address book, I should be able to enter an access code (or calling card #?) that should be attached to that number. That way, when I cal that number I can be presented with a button or command to provide the number for me. Today, I have to manually look it up (usually a note within the contact info) and enter it. Frustrating.

You don't ask much do you?! There's no way Sony will listen to all this, especially a list that long!

Should just limit it to 10 or so important and REALISTIC improvements because Sony (if they even cared - which i doubt) would have a right good laugh at that geek-wishlist ^_^.

I mean, how much do you expect this phone to cost? £1000? lol.

Although there are a few things that may be a bit outrageous most of the items here are VERY REALISTIC and are not things meant to expand the phone, but things that should have been in the phone in the first place.

@Sage ~ Nothing is perfect in life. All I'm doing is pointing out the obvious, SE (not Sony - typo) will not give a fuck about that list, I mean get real! Same goes for those stupid bloody internet petitions, just be happy with what you got, I am. Like I said, sort the good from the bad and make the list shorter and slighty less ridiculous. Not trying to piss on your parade, just trying to help out. ^_^ ~Eva This message was posted from a P800

@sage

Re: Birthday field in contacts, in sync with calendar

My suggestion is that maybe not only Birthday field but also other choices of anniversary ( Like wedding, Baptismal etc. ) which is also in sync with the calendar

Also another suggestion: we can customize or rename the field that we want to put, my experience with the p800 when you want to add extra field they only have limited choices.

Lastly, maybe try to add built in FM Radio / Conversion software

Cheers
