Well, I think the reason is because of the way the T610 saves the images in raw format. A basic screen saver takes up almost 150k on the T610 because of the image format so when the phone wants to play that back, it has to load that 150k into memory which takes up another 150k, it's just ridiculous!!!!
If they just saved the files like on the T68i, it would animate a lot faster
