yes they have it $20! for unlimited true GPRS!!..( i just called) but the bastards wont let me sign up becaue I am on the "smart access plan" and I have to wait for my contract to end (november).. I need this unlimited GPRS...!!!!!

Well you could go to T-bag mobile UK and get the £10 per month for 100MB GPRS (WEB & WAP, they don't distingish between them).
Network sucks arse though, shame Orange won't OVP it or O2 won't copy it

In Nov legislation comes in to effect in the US that allows people to take their numbers with them if they change service provider. If Cingular haven't improved their GPRS deals by then I'll probably take my number and move to T-Mobile.
Regarding getting decent phones here in the US, the situation has improved greatly, but even now not all phones have 1900MHz support, which is required for operation here.
