> Is this the end of Theme Creator Pro?

I've used the software a bit and it looks pretty solid in it's current form but I'll download this new version anyway, and now you've bought it to my attention I'll be sure to let you know if I spot and bugs or have some suggestions.

I don't think there are enough T610 users yet, apart from that making a T610 theme seems to be more work than one for the T68 or T300/310. Also because the image quality has to be really good.
So if possible, have some patience
Otherwise freeze the development until you've received enough input to proceed.

what would be cool is ive we had a vodafone icon set so i can recreate the background blur like on some of the other themes with the original set at least itll make the voda crap more bearable

2. There is definitely more work with T61x themes then with T6x/T3xx themes. And it's not only because the image quality must be good. There are hundred of T6x/T3xx themes out there, but why no one has the idea with the icon shadows??? Most of this "old" themes use only a simple picture and that's it. With some imagination you can create real good themes for T6x/T3xx too.
You see that even with these "old" themes you have enough work to do.

And with "Mr. Z" (the only beta tester for version 3G) we have managed to develop all the previews you can see now in Beta 2. And I never saw the T610 and its user interface
If I want to develop the software in future I need help from SE phone users! I cannot buy every new SE phone, just because I develop theme creation software.
Should I change the software to shareware? How many users have the interest to pay for it? (Hey man, where can I get the serial number or crack for Theme Creator Pro??? -Yo, man, try Astalavista
)
I will try to develop the software as long as I have the time for it. I even have ideas for version 4
@Trevsweb: I have no idea how this "ugly" Vodafone icons look like. If some one can provide me this icon set I will implement it. All depends from users...

First thing that happened after installation was a crash (or rather a hang, had to kill process) when I pressed the 'Browse for folder' (I assume) button (the first button on the toolbar). After I set an existing theme folder in preferences the problem dissapeared.
Preview looks very good. I really like the "More Previews" button.
Note: Would be nice to get a reminder to save if the theme has been modified.
I'll try to build a theme with it later tonight, see how that goes. Will probably have more to comment then.

I have a T610 and I have to say you have gotten the interface very well indeed!
As for Beta Testing, you can put me on the list. If there is anything I can do to help out, just send me a PM and I'll do my best to do it.
My guess is that people who have already bought the T610 are still learning to use all of it's features. It's also summertime, so my guess is that there are less users hanging around indoors playing in computers.
I did one thing, however. I was creating an Icelandic user's guide and I pointed at your website as a good place to go to get a Theme Creator. Maybe an Icelandic language version would be cool?

I think there's probably interest in it, but many people lack the time. I am interested in creating a theme for my new T610. I created one for my T300 but it wasn't anything special.

Yes, I was wondering the same thing. Most of the large amount of themes for the T68/T3xx aren't very impressive. I have also been thinking about doing something with the standard icon and time placements. I started with a Wip3out theme for my T300, as simple colors seem to work best for it. I might make that for the T610 instead.
Indeed there are some interesting ideas possible. I'm happy to see it's possible to work around the menubars, making them invisible.

You must have, I think a programmer without patience can't be a programmer
Especially during the mind numbing debugging sessions (I'm a programmer myself)

I'm afraid people would indeed probably just downloaded cracked versions
And I'm not sure how many people are doing themes right now. I'm happy to see better quality with the T61x themes I found though.

I'll see if I could give you some useful input when trying to make a T61x theme. First I need to come up with some good ideas

here I am.. hehe
well.. my first theme I did long time ago.. as soon as the themecreator from ericsson was released I did that.. and as you can see in your mail, I sent you 4 of my best themes.. and Zacay1 is the one I made the day Ericsson creator was released.
But that buggy shit program, is long ago removed from my computer and I feel ashamed of once having used it..
