> Difference between T68 & T68i => battery life
Bookmark topic
It's confirmed! Checked out SonyEricssons website.
Standbytime:
T68: 290hrs
T68i: 390hrs!
Finally, there is more to T68i then just the looks. I think more and more differences between T68 and T68i will show up as more and more people get this phone.

I heard the batteries were the same,
but the T68i saves energy somehow... maybe by using less light or something
That's what I've heard. So after the T68m update, the battery-time should be longer too...

Its not impossible that the new SW is less "power-demanding" then the old one!
More optimized for the HW so to speak!

I don't think it's less light, the buttonlights of the T68i is much brighter than those of T68...
Is there in any other area which T68i could save power in?

By the way, I almost can't wait to start using my T68i, but as I said earlier I have to wait for the darn thing to charge for 16 hours. Now my question is this: Can the phone charge for 16 hours while it's on, in other words, could I use the phone while it is charging for the first time? Or does it have to be off to be able to "expand" the battery life?

I always had them turned "on" for a while, cant keep my hands of new things
So I dont think theres nothing to worry about if you uses it for a while when charging it, I mean you can always turn it off and let it be charged overnight then!

One phone salesman once told me that it is o.k to turn the phone on after it has been charging for one or two hours...
It seems to be obvious that it is wise to buy the i-version because it seems to be better than the older version. Joystick is better, stand-by times are better, keypad lights are better, software is better...
Anyway, tomorrow i will buy a Nokia 8250 from a guy who bought it from Singapore in january...

@Armin: could you write down the capabilities of your T68i battery, so that we can compare them with our T68m one...
then we can be sure of these things...

I just got the phone, I haven't even turned it on yet. You have to explain to me how I can find the capabilities of the battery, which menu...and so on.
