I called up Vodafone UK a few days back to ask how much insurance costs, etc. The lady on the phone helpfully offered to mail out some leaflets with the info to me. I did get something in the post yesterday - a letter saying that they have now "restored" the insurance contract on my phone!! What?
And I never even had insurance before to begin with!

...sorry, maybe I can't understand this speach because in Italy it works different ...but why do you need and insurance if the thief makes international calls? I'm with Omnitel-Vodafone but it takes one second to call them and to ask them to block my stolen SIM card ...?!?

bad we don't have insurance on phones here in lebanon!! If it's stolen or damaged... then u have to say bye bye to ur phone and u can't get a new one without buying it

Heh... Strange.... The insurance I got with NetCom (my operator) is valid anywhere in the world. So if I go to Lebanon, and some jerk takes my phone, I will get a new one
because I'm insured

don't make me to belive that *everyone* who's writing in the ng has only one phone!:) ...if the thief steal you one phone I'm sure that I'd be able to find another one in your car!:) ...and if they steal you 2 phones ...I think you're enough unlucky!:) ...and there's no insurance needed!:)
