I would suggest buying PDA screen protectors and cutting them to size with a knife - the screen is 31x37mm. The Fellows IPAQ WriteRight is an example of a sticky backed one (don't buy ones which rely on static, they will come off too easily as the screen isn't sunken into the case on the T610 like it is on PDAs) - you can get 2 from each protector.

Alternatively, if you don't want to cut anything try buying digital camera screen protectors (if you're in the UK you can get a pack of various sizes from Maplins) - these will be too big so will cover part of the case too - just like the Ericsson protector with the pictures on it.

The downside is cost - in the UK IPAQ protectors (pack of 12) is around £15, camera protectors are around £18.

Hope this helps.

its probably cheaper than buying a new cover/phone when it does get scratched.

that would depend on how long that one measly screen protector lasts. if it were to last for say abt min 3-4 months then i guess it'd be worth the price.

I think it is 16.95 SGD - Singapore Dollar.

I wonder if it protect only the LCD screen part or the whole black part (Front)...???

It is my understanding from the discussion in this topic that the T610 display is not scratch-proof. Isn't that a little weird for top model? I mean I don't have a single scratch on my T39 (I even dropped it from aprox. 1 meter directly on the display). The aluminium (or whatever that is) surrounding the display was scratched but the display itself didn't suffer any consequences.

I think the clear plastic one i seen on ebay is quite cool, although i much prefer the naked phone.

I'm not even catholic either

i agree... naked is always better

but i still remember when i got the first scratch on the screen and a small dent to go with it when i'd dropped my first phone (nokia 8890) just days after i bought it. i remember i couldn't sleep properly for two days, and all i could see on the phone was the scratch and the dent. it always hurts when something like that happens.
