but its gonna be a clamshell phone, doesn't that make any difference to u? i personally have never liked clam phones... i wish SE had rectified all the problems with T610 and probably even changed the shape a bit too if they wanted to sell it off as a new phone altogether rather than making a clamshell version of it!

how come people on reviews are saying that the screen of the T610 inst good out doors? my T68 has got STN 2 and its good out doors, whit all sorts of back groudns and themes. i don't find it hard to read. i think its as good as my P800's screen.

True I may just grab the T610.....

I dont mind Clam style phones, but there saying announcment in September, and released when? following September proberly...

T610 is taking years to release on PAYG already... dont fancy the chances on the clam style phones release.

But will see.

You could always buy a sim free version which only costs a little more than pay as you go and you would get the plain vanila version as well. This message was posted from a T300

I have seen a prototype clamshell by SE at a special "demo" hosted at a place i work. I am not saying its the Z610 or not. its a prototype, and may NOT be indictive of a final phone.

This phone has a TFT screen, and is extremely visible. The T610 and co will never be able to realistically have a TFT screen or anythign else that bright, as the screen has to be on at all times. Clamshells have the ability of knowing when to swithc on and off the screen (closed/open) and therefore have the advantage of being able to use a TFT whilst conserving battery power.

so the Z600 or whatever it is is likely to be better than the T610 plainly coz of the clam.
