True that. I guess Bluetooth battle ship is cool also.
I dont think this phone was as much as a small fortune. Since I work for AT&T broadband, we get half of all At&T wireless phones.
I guess I shouldn't bitch.
Sorry about that-I had newbie rage!

Ah, you see, T68i would support Java you could find a Tetris or whatever.
But maybe they'll release a T68i2 with J2ME support in 3 months time

The funny thing is: At Cebit tradefair last week they displayed prototypes of the T68 running J2ME applications!
So I think there really might be a new T68 in some months time.
cheers,

@hymie
You know, the software we are all waiting for (the MMS...) was already developed more than 6 month ago (the R1A…), and we still don’t have it...!!!
So, by SE, you'll have a J2ME software, if they speed up a little bit, maybe in 5 or 10 years...

I was rather annoyed when Tetris was taken off, but hell. It's not that big a problem.

@lemonflav: What colour is your phone? I heard AT&T have black phones, is that true???
I'm pissed off about tetris too, not that i always play games, but when you're
really bored, tetris is the only game worth playing on the phone... I think they could've removed all the other crappy games instead.... oh well, who cares

Actually the prototypes shown at CeBIt was not J2ME. They were equipped with a new platform for downloadable games called mophun. You can read about their strategy for downloadable games in sonyericsson.com pressreleases.

Is that the platform that is used in the T68i? They say they've changed operating system in it...
...or is it only a newer version of OSE (which is the OS that

has used in all their phones - except the R380 that has the Symbian platform)?
