How come when I set one of my animations as my screen saver, it only comes up for a few seconds (5 at the most) and then the stupid clock comes up? I thought the screen saver would repace the clock!
I know this post is about the T68, but I have a T610 and have the same problem.
and before anybody says anything, I DID use the search function, and found this post!

Thank you,

Chris.

elfreakz, it should be a digital clock... if you have an analogue clock I would be interested to know how you got that!

chrisgreen82, no... unfortunately thats the way it is supposed to work and has done since the T68 came out in October/November 2001 so I guess they are unlikely to change that if they haven't done so by now.

Without it your battery life would be very poor.

havent you noticed the scree practicly turns off after about 20 secconds. well thats to save battery life and well if a screensaver was constanly proccessing whit a dim screen its prolly about as efficiant with a fully lit screen and the clock screensaver

Well", could make a menu for the phones that you can make a better timeout for your Clock.
Maybe 1 minute or 5 minute.
Then nobody has problem with it.
But if you like your desktop so much.
Than it could be a problem
