Not to be rude or anything, but the keypad always had orange leds.

Someone involved in the design of this phone called it "lemon yellow".

And regarding the different backlight, I think that the light was enhanced in later hardware versions of the T68m. I saw this when I did a side-by-side comparison with several hardware versions of the T68m, that all had the same firmware. Unfortunately I didn't make a note of in which version the light was changed.

By the way, you can see what version (revision) of the hardware you have, by looking at the row with the product number that is printed on the label under the battery. I'm not sure, but I think that all T68m's, at least those with an "Ericsson label" (not "Sony-Ericsson"), have the product number "KRC 114 1290". Next to this number, you'll find the revision state, e.g. "R1B" or "R2A". (The later is newer).

The product number for T68m is CDA 102 058/1. There is also another id number next to the model name, for example 2516/46...

And the T68 has never been produced with green LEDs, you need to get your eyes testing or something

I don’t know why people can’t just accept what people have to say. I don’t need to get my eyes tested the keypad was a different colour. Have you seen every single T68 ever produced? Well shut the f*** up then.

Don't worry, we believe you! If you take a look at the T68m here, then you'll see the difference between some T68m models....

chill out mate. I was only stating that, as far as i know, the T68 has never been produced with green LEDs. No i havent seen every T68, but then again i havent seen any photos of a T68 with green LEDs. On that basis, i dont believe that or /// have ever made a T68 with green LEDs. Why would they produce a phone with different componants, increasing production cost.

I was just stating my point of view, no need to get agresive mate.

Maybe in hindsight I was a bit hasty in my response. I’ve noticed that the attitude in this in this forum very much seems to be, we won’t believe a word you say until you prove it.

No need to say I find this mentality offensive. I don’t use this forum religiously, but when I do, I like to think I contribute positively.

Apologies for jumping the gun, I just find it extremely annoying when someone contradicts something I know to be true.
