i tested it on 98 98se me 2000 xp
Sometimes on win xp it tels me that there are errors in transfaring images
At that point the windows stops sending and the phone keeps on thinking that the the pic in still in progress so when you try to uplaad the next pic it'll say too big or it'll saw a scrambeld image
to solve that you need to lawer the speed of you ir eye from the computer
control panel --> system --> divice manager--> ir and then lawer it

I don't know which question people are answering in this thread, but original question was. Is it possible to receive background images from phone to PC. Option Receive Picture from Phone is grayed out in the Background menu. I can send pictures from PC to phone.

No, you cannot recieve pictures from the phone to your PC using MyPictures at the moment. The option is probably for a future version and was left in the menu by mistake while compiling the code (my guess).
