But do they need upload functionality? How do they get the records into, say, a billing solution? I'm sure there are other aspects that you may want to consider to create a serious business application on the P800.

Thanks guys.
I've read throug your replies over breakfast here.
Yes, the app will need to be uploaded to the billingsystem from the phone docking station or over the net.
No the app I need does not exist. I was looking all over for something similar with no luck, but SE thought it was a great idea and wanted feedback on the end result.
Yes, I tried Yellow Pages with no luck.
Deadline, don't know yet.
Btw... I nearly laughed my head off when I was reminded of my spelling error in the first post here, I did deserve those comments.

No dude what he means is you can do handwriting 1 charater at a time, not a whole word at a time. So it wouldn't work.damn your having breakfast? I'm about to get in the bed myself lol. Of course its like 1am here.

@Sony Ericsson Indonesia
I don't mind being corrected on when I do a mistake, and I have humor enough to laugh at my own mistakes, but what you are doing here is splitting hair...

Yes it does but you can't get the "drawed" signature on the same page as where you can write comments with the keyboard.

I think sum1 hit upon a good point there....
Why doesn't your company also use "voice" signatures. They could sign then say their name and the P800 record it. I think this is being tested as a form of proof of identity in some supermarkets already.
Another thing tho... I think if the signature is to be valid it needs to be less pixelated than it would be if signed in a small box at the end of the form.
I reckon the customer should use the whole screen to sign (ie turn the screen on its side) and use that - or at least most of the screen. If u use the same size box to sign in as on a piece of paper, the signature will be of poor definition (very blocky) and may not look authentic or anything like the real signature. To increase the qualtiy of the definition use a bigger area of the screen -- the app that gets programmed for u could then auto crop the signed image so that no wasted image space is stoerd in memory (ie blank space).
