Depends on the company but if the price goes up then you should have the option to not buy. Of course if someone else has it in stock first you can always buy from them and cancel you pre-order.

got my flash this morning. i think it's pretty good. £40 from expansys including vat and p&p. as someone had mentioned in another forum, the t610 ain't the best for long shots, but takes okay photos close up ..

Its a real flash and can be used as a constant light and strobe etc...
