This for Chris O Leary, 120 for the cK3000 c.t. 200 for ur SE kit (according to your post above the one above )... would certainly make it cheaper. The CK3000 is ALSO a behind the dash kit, all you see upfront is the remote control for pickin n dropping calls, it mutes ur stereo, with phones liek T68 and T610, it actually downloads your entire address book (250+ contacts in my case, most with multiple numbers) to the kit, then allows you to add voice tags for any you want, saving them IN the kit, this first of all lets u save MANY more voice tags then the phone allows (I think P800 lets U save like 16??), PLUS, as you record your voice tags thru the car kit's mic... recognition is almost always perfect; I've used it at speeds of 90 mph and it's never let me down. It will work with P800 just the complete functionality will not be there as apparently the P800 audio profile isn't as advanced.

Bub1: I would appreciate if you could give me any feedback on motorway usage. Cheers.

I fully appreciate what the 3000 can do and am sure the sound quality would be slightly better but end of the day it has to be fitted to your car which obviously costs something and then that means you cannot just unplug it and use in another car, also a lot of people like myself dont want the electrics on their car tampered with, especially when you have a new car.
If you have money to spend and want a BT carkit thats has many features you might bet better to go for the 3000. For me and many others I feel the BT car kit I purchased is a cheaper and better option which does the main job of talking handsfree very well.
I have just had a conversation on the motorway (with the windows shut of course) and had a perfectly good speech quality conversation

Personally with Bluetooth i wouldn't buy cheap!

You do of course realise that Bluetooth operates at 2.4Ghz, microwave is 2.5Ghz, the more expensive the bluetooth gear the better its insulated! I'm not sure i'd relish a hands free bluetooth kit sitting in my lightersocket only inches away from my knackers! £50 bluetooth in your car and a free plumbs spit roast and no risk of children.

I have just had a terrible thought!

I have just bought one of these handsfree kits - not installed it yet though.

I alrady have a bluetooth headset, and there is a comment in the installation instructions that seems to imply that if I pair up the car one I will have to replace the existing headset pairing!

Anyone confirm if the T610 can handle two "headsets" intelligently?

TIA

Elaborate wot U mean by "intelligently". In my T610, I have two handsfree kits, one Parrot CK3000 and the other Parrot Driveblue. Ofcourse the phone never sees them on at the same time, so connects to the one which is available.

I was just concerned by the comment in the instructions that says "If you have another bluetooth headset connected you will be asked to replace it" which seems to imply you can only have one headset paired at once.

I appreciate that you can only have one CONNECTED at once! But your experience seems to indicate that I can pair up more than one.

I will have a try and see what happens.

Would they be allowed to sell a dangerous product that doesnt pass various tests? Also what about these BT headsets are they frying our brain?

I have a SE BT car kit which I use with my T610 and it works a treat - no crackling like I get with the BT headset. As soon as I turn on the ignition, it connects to the phone and so it all works swimmingly. On my old T68i, I had to manually connect the car kit and phone by prssing the 'call' button on the car kit, which was a bit more of a hassle.

Don't bother paying loads of cash to get it fitted - do it yourself! It's really easy: You don't need to remove the dash (you can use the hole left by removing your radio out of the way) and there's only 3 wires I think- earth, power (always on) and power (on with ignition). These can just be connected to your cigarete lighter or radio wires. The small control panel can be placed discreetly (i have mine down by the hand brake) and has a nice little green LED to tell you its all working and has reception.

I bought the 'advanced music mute' kit as well, which is just an extra box which sends the sound through your two front car stereo speaker rather than using that little supplied one. I'd advise you try it with the supplied speaker first and then get the AMM kit later if you think you need it. It doesn't do a lot for sound quality (stereo is even a bit weird!) and the standard kit mutes your radio anyway. Definately worth a go though is the boom microphone as this picks up your voice better than he small supplied unit which can be too far away for motorway speeds.

All available from the SE Eshop as not many places keep the extra bits and pieces in stock.

My T610 is paired with both the carkit and a HBH-30 BT headset with no problems - it just picks up whichever is near by. Not sure what would happen if I had both in the car with me though, although I think the one at the top of the list takes priority. May be I should try that at some point...
