Could somebody please tell me why can't i install the XTNDConnect (R3APackage1.exe)? The installation says 'Start Microsoft Outlook', but Outlook is already open!!! Then the installation stops and fails...
I have XP Home, Outlook 97 and t68(i).

T68m phone I have a problem using my pictures software and xtend pc on Windows XP with Irda "infrared" It works once but when i close the software and move the phone away from the Irda port and then bring it back again I open the software and it can not locate the phone. To get it working again I need to remove the phone and sim from the phone monitor and then have the wizard detect it a new. I have to do this every time for the software's to work with the phone.
I am now in Thailand and I went to sonyericson and they said that t68 will not work with Win XP!!!! Because the drivers are not Microsoft certified for XP!!!! Now win 98 me 2000 and XP are all 32 bit OS so it should not matter what OS.
Any sugestions???????

XTNDConnect will not work for Win XP and so far SE only has the latest batch of XTND but still not ready for WinXP and even you successfully install XTND to your system it will still pompt you to download the latest XTND(must purchase) from XTND web site.
Perhap you can consider PBTM to manage your contact and message but not calender and task.
This is what I encounter hope it will be help you.

kayla, i would like to make a clarification about your post. XTND Connect PC works with Windows XP. It communicates with the phone via Mobile Phone Monitor and any device (serial, bluetooth and IrDA). There is an issue with IrDA on Windows XP and it has nothing to do with XTND Connect.

Ericsson Communications Suite version R4A links have been added to the list. See the first post.
Some improvements i have noticed so far:
1. PBTM is now able to read SIM entries and not screw up.
2. Date sorting on SMS Inbox has been fixed (it used to treat the dates as characters before)
3. XTND Connect PC can now Sync via Ir on Windows XP.
