no, I didn't get one with my first T610 either.
The strap attaches at the bottom at the back in the middle and you need to remove the back cover to fit it.

A strap is a strap people , i once saw a picture that showed it straps onto the bottom, right next to where the charger is connected.

Just out of interest, last night I looked at the T610 strap that came with my second one and its pretty naff apart from the SE logo where the thick hand part of the strap meets the thin part that goes into the phone. So don;t be too concerned over those ones.
