Hmm.. I don't know if the picture quality is improved with a software upgrade, but my T610 has the original R1A software.

The pixelsize of T610 and MCA-10 are the same. Therefore the pics are the most suitable as \"picmessage\" to friends via GPRS! Very cheap because I pay 12 euros for 100 MB. And one mespage takes 30 kB only!

regardless of wether SE makes picture compression avaliable og enhances any kind of picture tasking software-wise, u will still have your 288x352 pxl fisheye pictures.
