A friend of mine has a Samsung (V200). He took a picture with the camera and I asked him to send it to me via IrDA (I wanted to compare the screens). No can do. There is no option. Only via MMS. I took a picture with T610 and tried sending it to V200. Well you can guess... it can't be done. I tried sending a bussiness card. No-go. Tried it at home with laptop, siemens S55, iPAQ and another T610. They all acceppted the pic. Sorry, but Samsung software is crap!

yeah it is...... and has a nice cam too (and memory)
now.... if ONLY youi'dbe able to ir pics taken with that cam to another phone..... I could see it's uses...
but now...... what a shame. what a missed opportunity.

and before you all start you can only send pics from sony to sony (with the exception of some nokia ones) It does state this on samsung website, so its not like you dont kno before you buy. Every phone manufacturer uses different Ir protocols

Well i can send and recieve phonebook entries with Nokias and Everything (Pics, mid's etc) with my mates Siemens.
Nokias cannot transfer pictures or ringtones though - crap!

Like i said before somewhere,my t68i/t610 both work like a dream with my missus's panasonic gd 87

I got my E700 yesterday, and the quality of the pictures and the screen beat the crap out of my mates T610, okay it may not have bluetooth but its still worth lookin, Its also a lot easier to use than the t610!
