So much for the P810/P900 being announced today, i certainly did'nt think it would have been considering sonyericsson has'nt officially announced anything about this phone themselves, or am i mistaken please enlighten me someone, as all i seem to hear about this phone is the stupid flip/keypad does'nt come off. Actually.... the keypad seems to be detachable.

have confirmed it's existence (sadly on a swedish site) and it will be announced in the foreseeable future

På gårdagens presskonferens med Sony Ericsson lanserades ingen efterföljare till handdatortelefonen P800. Men det rådde inget tvivel om att en sådan produkt är på gång.

Inför presskonferensen sa rykten att P900 skulle lanseras som en efterföljare till P800. Men alla som hade väntat sig att Sony Ericsson skulle visa upp en efterföljare till kommunikatorn P800 fick snopet konstatera att någon sådan lansering blev inte av.

När det samlade pressuppbådet började ställa frågor om P900 kunde dock inte Sony Ericssons Per Alksten stå emot frestelsen att bekräfta att en sådan modell är på väg.-
Det har cirkulerat bilder på produkter och jag kan bara säga att vissa av bilderna är äkta, andra är det inte, sa han.
Därefter tillade han att Sony Ericsson kommer att fortsätta satsa på smartphones, och att ytterligare en sådan produkt är på väg.

Någon tidpunkt för en lansering av en uppföljare till P800 ville Per Alksten dock inte ge.

"Sony Ericssons Per Alksten is saying that a model is on it's way, he also said that some of the pictures on the internet are the correct ones but others are not. he did't mentioned any release date. he said also that sonyericsson would continue to concentrate on the smartphone segment and that another smartphone is on it's way.
